Dear Parents and Carers,
As you may have heard, there have been a number of terrible and fatal stabbings at schools across
China recently. In response to this spate of unprecedented crime, Green Oasis has increased
security measures in a number of ways. Please find our response outlined below:
1. The number of guards on duty has increased from 2 to 3 (on duty all day)
2. One guard is positioned at the back gate at ALL times
3. There is an armed policeman on duty by the gate every morning – sent from the Shenzhen
government
4. A senior teacher will be on duty every morning and afternoon as the students arrive at and
leave from school
5. The guards have been briefed to stop each single adult who attempt to access the school,
this includes parents and nobody will gain access to the school without an appointment,
this includes parents.
We would ask that all parents/carers please support us during this time by making appointments
with staff you wish to see in advance of your visit, signing in upon entry and carrying a visitors
badge so that you may be recognised. I am sure you will agree that this is a small inconvenience in
comparison to the security and safety of your children.
We thank you for your support in this very urgent security matter. Our intention is to safeguard
the children at all costs so that they may enjoy a happy, safe learning environment without fear.

或许您已得知，最近我国发生多起令人惊闻的校园刺杀案件。对于接连发生前所未有的
犯罪，城市绿洲学校已经在各方面着手加强校园安全措施，请见我们如下的回应：
1. 值勤保安人员的人数由2 人增加到3 人（全天值勤）
2. 一名保安人员全天在后门值勤
3. 每日早晨一名武警于校门口值勤 –由深圳市政府配置
4. 每日早晨和下午学生上下学时间安排一名资深老师值勤
5. 已经告知了保安们应阻止每一位试图进入学校校园的成年人进入学校校园，这部分包
含了家长们；并且没有预约的所有人员都不得进入学校，这部分包含了家长们。
在这里，我们恳请所有的家长们/照顾者们，在这非常时期与我们合作，事先和您想会
面的教职员预约，进入校园时配合访客登记的工作，并佩戴访客证以便识别。和您孩子们的
人身安全相比，我相信这小小的不便您一定能够谅解并配合执行。

个没有惧怕，快乐安全的学习环境。
