A warm welcome to the Green Oasis School, Shenzhen website. Your visit is part of a very important decision making process about your child’s education in Shenzhen.

At Green Oasis School we aim for academic excellence alongside positive social development in a unique bilingual environment which really does encompass the very best from the East and the West.

Our school consists of both a Primary (including Reception class) and Secondary section having more than 450 students in total. Our class sizes are small and our teachers are highly experienced, qualified professionals recruited chiefly from the UK, Canada, Australia and the US. We follow the UK national curriculum in the primary section and the Cambridge international curriculum leading to Cambridge IGCEs in the Secondary section. All curricula is underpinned by clear learning objectives and assessment criterion which ensures a clear, balanced and consistent delivery of curriculum.

Upon graduating from Green Oasis students meeting the minimum requirements at GCSE level gain an automatic place with SCIE (Shenzhen International College of Education) – our sister college- famed for the large proportion of graduating students gaining places in some of the world’s most prestigious universities including, in the UK, Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial College London and universities such as Cornell and Purdue in the USA.

We are proud of the academic achievements of our students and of the progress that they make at all stages of their education.  We are equally proud of the extensive range of opportunities beyond the confines of the classroom that encourages our children to explore new opportunities to extend their skills, interests and creativity in ever more innovative and dynamic ways. This can be seen through the range of extracurricular activities we have on offer and the varied curricular we provide which encourages  independent and creative life-long learners and generally well-rounded individuals.

We are a school which tailors the learning experience so that each child has the opportunity to flourish through building on their learning experiences in meaningful and personalised ways. Through ensuring that we cater for individual children’s abilities and learning style through a method called differentiation, we aim to ensure that each student has the opportunity to really maximise their true full potential in a meaningful and supportive context.

The school has recently been refurbished and we are now proud to present our brand new music room with recording studio, gymnasium used for a variety of sporting activities, a Reception classroom, the development of dedicated English language leaning classrooms (as part of the LLZ – Language Learning Zone), fully refurbished canteen facilities and new play areas for the Primary students.

The school has also invested heavily in updating and modernising the classrooms so that each classroom is now fully interactive using the latest in interactive technology in order to get the best from our students.
