Welcome to Green Oasis School in Shenzhen.
We provide a happy, caring environment in which your children can learn and enjoy success. We are fortunate to have children from many different parts of the world and it is this cultural diversity that makes us unique within Shenzhen. The mix of Chinese and international students enriches our learning experiences as well as our friendships and play.
We are pleased to offer a broad curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England that allows your child to develop the skills needed to become lifelong learners. Using research based learning, he or she will learn ‘how to learn’ and our Academic Tracking system will help you, as parents, to identify your child’s strengths and areas for improvement. In mathematics, we emphasise the need to be able to use number skills mentally as this is an important life skill. In English we are fortunate to have the facilities of the Language Learning Zone (LLZ) to enable those whose first language is not English to access the curriculum more effectively.
As Primary teachers, our focus is to enable your children to become not only independent learners but also valuable members of the community. We actively encourage the children to become responsible for themselves, those around them as well as the environment in which we live. From the youngest to the eldest, children are encouraged and reminded to take care of their belongings at all times.
Green Oasis is a warm and welcoming school and we look forward to the excitement of the end of year activities and the start of the new academic year.
